Volunteer Opportunities

Whether you donate financially, donate materially, donate your time, or partner with prayer, it all is important and makes a difference in lives. For more information on where or how you might best serve, please contact us.

We currently have these opportunities:

• Prayer partner - commit to pray for our volunteers, clients, leadership, and ministry regularly and join us during our monthly prayer on the 2^nd Friday of each month at noon at the Crawford County House of Prayer.
• Receptionist - duties include answering the phone, assisting with material donations, organizing the boutique, helping clients shop as needed. Self-paced and on the job training are required. Time commitment is one shift a week, on the same day each week for 3-6 hours.
• Client Advocate - duties include providing peer counseling, education, support, and empowerment to men or women making a pregnancy decision, facing parenting or relationship challenges. Must be strong in your faith to be passionate about speaking truth in hard situations, living out the gospel in every day life, have great listening skills, be compassionate and able to seek God's love for each person you encounter. Self-paced, on the job, and group training are provided for this position. The time commitment varies from client to client and could be 1-2 hours each week or one shift of 3-6 hours each week. 
• Sewing partners - our boutique and the gift baskets earned are full of handmade items such as receiving blankets, hooded towel sets, burp rags, and more. We are looking for people to partner to help supply these items as needed. 
• Community Connector/Church Liaison - advocate for our mission in our community and your church, helping keep people informed of our programs and services, upcoming events, ministry needs, maybe hosting baby showers, helping with our baby bottle campaign, helping with our fundraising events to reach new people and organizations, seeking out speaking opportunities to share about our center, overall help us raise awareness in our community of what we do and how people can get involved. 
• Event Planning Partner - help us with our special events such as our Glow Walk, Banquet, the Baby Bottle Campaign, and more!
